Directions:
The pub was built in 1810 by the Knight family, of Chawton, and can be found in Upper Farringdon at the junction of Crows lane and Hall Lane.
From Alton follow signs for Fareham (A32). Drive past fields and farmland before you reach Farringdon, with large 30 mph signs. Continue until you reach the crossroads, then turn left. (signposted Upper Farringdon) The large cream coloured house on the corner was once the village shop.
Continue up the hill, straight on past the turning to the church, until you reach the next T junction, where you will find the Rose & Crown. Turn left, past the front of the pub and you will find the entrance to the car park on your right.
