SUNSHINE FOR THE SPring Show - Updated 30th March 2017

Sunlight shone on entries for the Farringdon Horticultural Society Show, held in the Church on Saturday (25th March) as the gardeners of Farringdon prepared their exhibits for the scrutiny of the Judges. Thanks to a late Spring there were no Tulips but Daffodils and Narcissi were on display along with an assortment of other seasonal flowers

Saturday Morning

Mo Biggs and Christine Bohringer were on duty "behind bars" at the administration desk in the Church Porch.

Despite the bright sunshine the a chilly breeze meant scarves and coats were required to fend off mild hypothermia.

Entries were soon accumulating as judging approached and entrants were making the final adjustments to prepare their exhibits for the arrival of the Judges.
